Hi, I’m Natalie
I create vibrant realism paintings that seek to preserve the beauty found in the ordinary moments and objects that shape our lives and identities. Each piece has a story, honours the women in my life, or is a reflection of my motherhood journey.
By elevating everyday beauty through meticulous detail, my work invites collectors to reflect on their own stories, relationships, and the lasting influence of those who came before them.
I live north of Toronto with my husband, two young boys, and a senior Boston terrier named Walter. My studio time is currently confined between the margins of naps, school drop offs, and after the house winds down in the evenings. Picking up a brush for 30 minutes or an hour at a time, my practice is evolving into short rituals of self care in the thick of motherhood.
