Natalie Viecili is a mixed media artist based in King City. She received her BFA from York University in 2010 and completed a one year studio residency at the Toronto School of Art through 2011. Her work has been exhibited at venues throughout Toronto including the Gladstone Hotel, Fort York, and Propeller Centre for the Visual Arts. She has also included work in Nuit Blanche (2010/2011) and has exhibited in Montreal and Seattle, Washington in 2012.

Natalie has spent the last 4 years exploring ways to incorporate new and found materials with her love of traditional painting. While some pieces in this new collection are seen as traditional paintings, others see a collision of resin, vinyl or collage with both abstract and figurative painting. There is a true sense of playfulness between layers and materials that illuminates each piece.
